SUBSTANCE: apparatus for transmitting power from a drive shaft to a seed meter shaft of a seed metering device includes a transmission. Transmission housing consists of two identical parts. First and second housing parts together define a first internal passageway and a second internal passageway. Transmission comprises a first element rotatably mounted in the first inner passageway formed by the first and second housing parts and connected to a drive shaft or a single shaft of the seed metering device. Transmission also comprises a second drive element rotatably mounted in the second inner passageway formed by the first and second housing parts. Second drive element engages the first drive element and is connected to the seed meter shaft or the drive shaft.

EFFECT: invention improves the reliability and simplifies the reversal of transmission, while simplifying and speeding up its generation.
