SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structures for preliminary mechanical and natural biological treatment of sewage from residential houses of individual development, and can be used with a permanent population of up to 7 people. Septic tank contains housing 1, insert 2, neck 3, inlet pipe 4 with a diffuser, overflow pipe 5, liquid outlet pipe 6, water seal 7 and water shutter 8 with a biofilter. Box 2 has drainage holes 9. Septic tank has three cleaning zones: receiving chamber 10, intermediate chamber 11 and chamber 12 defined by walls of insert 2.
EFFECT: septic increases the efficiency of wastewater treatment by using aerator 13.
