SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to the field of digital printing. Printing technology is proposed for efficient printing (i.e, with high efficiency at high resolution and high accuracy) on the outer surface of several objects passing through the optimized flow through the trajectory/print zone. In accordance with this technology, at least one matrix of print head modules is configured to detect at least one print path along the print axis, such at least one print path being a substantially linear portion of a closed loop path along which the objects are moved.
EFFECT: system and method of printing are proposed.
