FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to electrical machines. Two-phase alternating voltage generator contains a rotor with permanent magnets and a stator with windings. Rotor is made by a forcibly rotating external source of mechanical energy to generate AC voltage in the stator windings. Further, the number of excitation windings on the stator is even and four times greater than the number of pole pairs on the rotor. Diametrically opposite windings are connected to each other in a consecutive and counter manner or in parallel and codirectionally. Simultaneous generation of single-phase alternating voltage in the form of a sinusoid and cosine wave is provided.
EFFECT: technical result consists in design simplification.
