SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container obtained by folding from one or more blanks, more particularly to packets for smoking articles. Packet for smoking articles has external shell (11) an internal shell (16) to contain smoking articles. External shell (11) comprises external containing body (14), closing lid (12) hinged to internal shell (16) and connection tongue configured to connect closing lid (12) to external containing body (14). Moreover, internal shell (16) is configured to slide, with respect to external containing body (14), between a closed configuration, where internal shell (16) is completely inserted inside external shell (11), and an open and extracted configuration where internal shell (16) is partly extracted from external containing body (14).

EFFECT: improved stiffness, larger surface for posting messages to the user, advertising information, et cetera, as well as simpler design and simpler manufacturing of the packet.
