FIELD: tobacco industry; packing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed packet has box-like including front, rear, upper and lower sides and also right-hand and left-hand sides, and contents enclosed in body, contacts contains group of rod-like smoking articles and wrapper. Body accommodates inner skeleton with front section found between front wall and contents, side sections found between side walls and contents and at least one U-shaped access hole formed in front section and opening towards lower wall. Hole has lower part located closer to upper wall than to center of front wall and area forming hole limited by cut line to form access hole. Packet has also cross notch line passing through front wall making it possible to divide front wall and oblique notch line passing at angle through each of side walls from cross notch line to lower wall and making it possible to divide corresponding side wall. Cross notch line is located between lower part of access hole or section of area forming the hole of corresponding lower part, and upper wall. Packet has hinge joint passing through rear wall and connecting oblique notch lines of corresponding side walls, hinge joint being arranged closer to lower wall than to center of rear wall. When cross notch line and oblique notch lines are broken, body is divided into box with upper wall containing contents, and cover provided with lower wall which can be turned around hinge joint. Invention relates also to blank for making such body.

EFFECT: provision of packet in which smoking articles are wrapped up and protected from ingress but can be easily taken out.
