FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, specifically to switched-mode converters of electric power. Disclosed switched-mode converter has a secondary winding in a secondary circuit, which at a first phase both accumulates and releases energy to a load or only accumulates energy. At a second phase the secondary winding is connected to input voltage and/or releases the accumulated energy in the secondary circuit in order to increase power release of the primary winding to the load.
EFFECT: present solution increases both the output power and the efficiency of the converter.
