SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of liquefying natural gas. Natural gas liquefaction system (1) includes first expander (3) that produces energy by using natural gas under pressure as a gaseous material, first cooling unit (11, 12), distillation unit (15), first compressor (4) for compressing the gaseous material from which the heavy components are partially or completely removed by the distillation unit, by using the energy produced in the first expander, and liquefying unit (21).
EFFECT: as a result of using the energy produced by the expander by expanding the gaseous material, the pressure on the compressor outlet increases, and the required cooling capacity of the refrigerator decreases.
