FIELD: technological processes; gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the natural gas liquefaction and separation technology. Natural gas liquefaction system (1) includes a unit for the water removal from the initial gaseous material, first expander (3), which produces energy by using natural gas under pressure as a gaseous material; first cooling unit (11, 12), which cools down the gaseous material having a reduced pressure by expansion in the first expander; distillation unit (15) for reducing the content or removal of the heavy component contained in the gaseous material by distilling the gaseous material cooled down by the first cooling unit; first compressor (4) for the gaseous material compressing from which the heavy components are partially or completely removed by the distillation unit, by using the produced in the first expander energy; and a liquefying unit (21) for the gaseous material compressed by the first compressor liquefying, by heat exchange with the refrigerant.
EFFECT: use of the invention will allow to increase the pressure at the compressor outlet end by using the energy produced with the source gas expanding, and reduce the cooling capacity required for the cooling unit.
