FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small arms, in particular a hunting rifle, intended for commercial and amateur hunting for small and medium-sized beasts. Small arms contain a barrel unit, a barrel box, a butt, a sighting device with a front sight and a back sight, mounted on the barrel unit, a horizontal hinge and a trigger guard. Hinge makes it possible to practically reduce the length of the arms in the transport variant. Trigger guard ensures a reliable fixation of the "barrel unit – barrel box" pair in the ready-to-fire state. When folded, this function is performed by a spring-loaded lock in the butt. Invention can be used in any other small arms.
EFFECT: simplification of the design of the folding arms with preservation of reliability, reduction in size.
