SUBSTANCE: self-loading hunting rifle with rifled barrel of model R-701 for 9 mm cartridge Luger (9x19) comprises barrel, barrel receiver with Picatinny plank, cover with Picatinny plank, guides and pins, in which fasteners for attachment to barrel receiver, bolt, trigger mechanism, return mechanism, bolt damper, cocking mechanism shifted to right and left sides. Barrel receiver is made integral with fore-end and has lower Picatinny plank for fixation of under-barrel equipment (lantern, handle, laser target designator, etc.). Barrel walls have increased thickness. Return mechanism is fixed in the front part of the barrel receiver and has a recharging lever, which is fixed during firing and is shifted under the left and right hand.

EFFECT: improved reliability of cover attachment to barrel receiver, increased accuracy of firing, expansion of functional capabilities of small arms.
