FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the polymer industry. Continuous cassette filter is a combination of two filter devices and one switching device, connected and united among themselves inside one body, consisting of three parts, on their external surface there are heating elements. Filter units assembled in the filter housing parts communicate with the holes therein, each part of the filter housing being a hollow steel cylinder. Filtering unit represents cartridge consisting of replaceable filter element, bearing grate, drain cylinder, head and end piston of cartridge. At that, all cartridge elements apart from replaceable filter and sealing elements are assembled into single one-piece unit. Drain cylinder is connected to the end piston of the cassette on one side and the cassette head, on the other, the sealing elements consist of ring gaskets and clamping discs that are attached to the end piston of the cassette on one side and to the cassette head on the other, the head of the cassette is a steel cylinder constructed in the form of two successively located paired pistons with through holes in a circle in the body of the piston adjacent to the drain cylinder. Low pressure chamber is located inside the head and in the space bounded by it and the inner surface of the body, the end piston of the cassette is a deaf metal disk made in such a way that the cassette of which part it is has the possibility, when replacing the filter element, repeatedly remove and insert into the housing, ensuring the integrity of the filter, while the cassette is not removed completely, namely, so that the cartridge head does not leave the limits of the casing. Flow switching cassette functions as an input, distribution of the dirty melt and collection, removal of the cleaned melt of the plastic mass between two separate filter units, as well as their separation inside the filter’s body. Part of the filter’s body is a hollow steel cylinder provided in the central part with asymmetric channels for supplying-withdrawing the total flows of melts, the apertures of the supply-melt outlet to each separate filter unit inside the filter’s body. Cassette of the switching device is a single symmetrical block in the form of a rod, in the central part provided with sealing elements, with two flowing and two end blind pistons in series, an outer surface adjacent to the switch body, so that it has the possibility of repeatedly moving inside the part of the filter’s body while redirecting the flows between the individual parts, ensuring the device is sealed in working order.
EFFECT: technical result is that there is no need to stop the entire production line of extrusion when replacing some contaminated filter surfaces; increase the productivity, ergonomics and efficiency of the filter, ensure reliability and trouble-free operation of the base filter elements under high internal pressure.
