FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optics, namely to demultiplexers separating the incoming signal over wavelengths and can be used primarily as an optical element in telecommunications systems for spectral channel separation. In a demultiplexer with spectral division of channels comprising successively located optical fibers for transmitting an incoming undivided signal, a collimating objective, a dispersing element made of two truncated cylinders, joined together coaxially by end surfaces, while on one of the connecting end surfaces of the truncated cylinders, a transmissive volume-phase hologram diffraction grating is made and a group of optical fibers for transmitting the output of the separated signal, according to the invention, the front end face of the first truncated cylinder and the rear end face of the second truncated cylinder disposed on the side of the respective secant planes, and also the connected end face of one of the truncated cylinders are made convex, and the connected end surface of the other cylinder is concave.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the transmission level of the signal, correcting astigmatism for the selected central wavelength with increased signal input efficiency.
