FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optics, namely to demultiplexers, which separates incoming signal by wavelength, and can be used, mainly, as an optical element in telecommunication systems for spectral separation of channels. In a demultiplexer with spectral division of channels, which comprises a collimating lens in series, the front surface of which receives an input signal from the optical fiber, dispersing element made of two truncated cylinders, interconnected coaxially with end surfaces, wherein demultiplexer is configured to focus output signal on group of optical fibers, wherein on one of the connected end surfaces of the truncated cylinders there is a transmitting three-dimensional holographic diffraction grating, the front end surface of the first truncated cylinder, located on the side of the secant plane, as well as connected end surface of one of truncated cylinders are made convex, and connected end surface of other cylinder and rear end surface of second truncated cylinder, located on side of secant plane, are concave.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the level of transmission of the signal by making the dispersive element in the form of a focusing-dispersing element and excluding the focusing lens.
