SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of building materials, namely to the composition for finishing, and can be used as a filler for finishing external facades and internal walls of buildings. Composition for decoration, used as a filler for finishing external facades and internal walls of buildings, including a binder, mineral filler – microcalcite, contains as a binder the modified liquid glass obtained by mixing for 30 minutes of sodium liquid glass with a module of not less than 2.7 and lithium hydroxide in an amount of 0.5–1 % by weight of the liquid glass, followed by the addition of a silicic acid sol in an amount of 3–15 % by weight of the liquid glass, with the following component ratio, by weight: modified liquid glass 38–43; microcalcite 57–63.

EFFECT: acceleration of curing, increase of water resistance of the finishing layer.
