SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic downhole motors for rotary drilling arranged in wells. In the method, the engine comprises tubular body 1 with an inner surface made in the form of a helicoid with internal multi-thread helical teeth. At each edge 5, 7 of body 1, internal thread 6, 8 is formed. Elastomer cover 9 is attached to the inner surface of body 1. Cover 9 is made with internal multi-threaded helical teeth and coincides in shape with the internal multi-threaded helical teeth in body 1. In the middle part of body 1, there are three threaded holes that are equidistant in circumference in the cross section of body 1 and at a distance relative to each other along central longitudinal axis 31 of body 1 with the possibility of a symmetrical arrangement of each of the threaded holes with respect to the profile of the inner screw tooth in body 1.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the reliability and service life of the hydraulic downhole motor.
