FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for the introduction of adhesive additives comprising single-walled and/or double-walled and/or multi-walled carbon nanotubes, oil road viscous bitumen, as well as the use of these additives in the composition of bitumen. Process of the invention includes heating the original oil road viscous bitumen to the operating temperature, followed by the introduction of oil road viscous adhesive additives into the bitumen by mixing them in a mixing device.
EFFECT: use of adhesive additives containing single-walled and/or double-walled, and/or multi-walled carbon nanotubes, in oil road viscous bitumen for asphalt coating provides increased adhesion of bitumen to the mineral part of the asphalt-concrete mixture from acidic and basic rocks, which leads to an increase in the compressive strength, shear and fracture toughness of road surfaces.
