FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and is intended for monitoring the diameter of the critical section of an adjustable nozzle in the manufacture of aircraft or rocket jet engines. Device for monitoring the diameter of the critical section of the adjustable nozzle of the jet engine includes a control gauge, as well as means for its displacement and measurement of the force of movement. Control caliber by means of a spherical bearing is fixed to the element of the displacement force measuring means with axial and radial clearances, which enable its angular and linear movement limited by the tolerances of the nozzle dimensions. In this case, the control gauge comprises a spherical surface configured to contact the flaps of the adjustable nozzle and having a diameter equal to the diameter of the critical section of the adjustable nozzle.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure the movement of the control gauge coaxially with the diameter of the actual position of the flaps in the critical section of the adjustable nozzle of the jet engine, due to what the damage of the valves and kinematic links of the nozzle drive is excluded, the reliability of the jet engine and products with its application is increased, the quality of control and the accuracy of measuring the diameter of the critical section of the jet engine nozzle are improved.
