FIELD: teaching.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to imitation of defeat during training shooting and training in conditions of bilateral impact. Imitation of shooting is carried out with a laser fire simulator – LFS mounted on training participant’s weapons with an additional initiation of shot with blank cartridge. Participant has infrared sensors of hit and electronics unit that provides for exchange of information between elements of LFS and training control center. When a laser beam hits enemy's infrared sensors, signal is converted into a digital form and transferred to the opponent’s electronics unit with the addition of sensor numbers that recorded this hit. Software electronics unit based on information about unique number of shooter, type of weapon, shooting distance, impact point and degree of protection of impact point (this point of contact is covered with a helmet or body armor or not) calculates damage level according to the algorithm and table of possible states.
EFFECT: enhances the reliability of determination of damage level from imitation of shooting means in training in conditions of bilateral cooperation taking into account the fact that trainees have individual means of protection from small-weapons.
