FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: simulator has case 1 accommodating radiating channels 2, 3 with matched optical axes. Channel 2 has laser 4 with wavelength in IR band and optical generator system 5 to simulate a shot. Channel 3 comprises laser 6 with wavelength in visible band and optical generator system 7. Simulator device 10 is attached to gun 11. Gunner aims gun 11 to screen 13 to depress knob 8 for aligning simulator radiation axis with sight optical axis. Note here that laser starter 9 starts laser 6 to send visible radiation, continuous or blinking at frequency of 2.5-12 Hz. Gunner uses device 12 to align fire simulator with sight axis to turn simulator relative to gun 11 so that visible laser spot is aligned with sight mark. Trigger actuated, device 9 send laser visible and IR pulses to target.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, expanded performances.
