FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control and sorting engineering in mechanical engineering and is intended for automating control in dimensional sorting of miniature asymmetrical cylindrical details, for example pins of radio connectors, in large-scale and mass production. Tasks of simultaneous control of diametrical size and form error of working part of radio connectors pins, as well as reliable fixation of monitored part in clamping device (cartridge) with predetermined amount of detail emission during measurement. Goal is achieved by the fact that before entering part from handler into clamping chuck, by means of pneumatic cylinder, clamp is placed in a way that limits the amount of detail's outreach. Another pneumatic cylinder, acting on pusher, ensures opening of jaws in chuck, thereby freeing the space inside chuck for detail to traverse. On command from control unit, pneumatic cylinder moves away from pusher and, under action of return spring, pusher returns to its original state, and clamping jaw chucks are closed, ensuring reliable fixing of the detail. After detail clamping, latch returns to its original state and transport device moves to control position, where cartridge is fed to cartridge with stepping motor of cartridge rotation. Dimension sensor is fed to detail and, using locking device, dipsticks are lowered onto detail to be monitored at chuck output. During measurement, detail rotates together with chuck, and carriage with size control sensor makes linear movement, so measurement result is obtained spirally. Practical implementation of device is performed in control unit KI1502, developed jointly by Tolyatti State University and OJSC "Electro-connector".
EFFECT: as a result, by the end of measurement, diametric size control is performed over entire detail working length with estimation of form error.
