FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: base of device carries indexing mechanism with tray, mechanism for loading terminal blocks into tray, sensor of terminal block position in tray, mechanism for pressing contacts into terminal block, sensor for checking arrangement of contacts in terminal block, arm mechanism, sorting mechanism and control system. Longitudinal movement of carriage is limited by changeable movable stops. Distance between working surfaces of stops is equal to minimum conveying step. Terminal blocs are caught by carriage grips provided with one or several lugs. Distance between lugs is equal to minimum conveying step. Loading mechanism is essentially a slide with open groove for terminal blocks on its top surface. It moves across tray. Magazine for terminal blocks is mounted above slide. Sensor for checking terminal block position in tray is provided with spring-loaded probe to control width of interval between adjacent blocks.
