SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control method for an electromechanical drive system comprising an inverter, an engine and a drive. To control the electromechanical system, the voltage drop of engine supply, associated with defects in the inverter is estimated in a certain way, the coefficient of the electromagnetic engine torque is estimated taking into account the estimated voltage drop and operating data, electromagnetic engine torque is calculated based on the coefficient of the electromagnetic torque and operating data in a certain way.
EFFECT: weight and dimensions are reduced when measuring the electromagnetic torque of the electromechanical drive system.
