FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: DC link (3) comprises a capacitor (3a) coupled in parallel to output of the converter (2) circuit and generates pulsating voltage (vdc) of DC link. Inverter (4) circuit converts output of DC link (3) to AC by means of commutation and supplies AC to engine (7) coupled to it. Controller (5) controls commutation of inverter (4) circuit so that engine currents (iu, iv and iw) pulse synchronically with pulsation of supply voltage (vin). Controller (5) controls commutation of inverter (4) circuit in compliance with load of engine (7) or operating state of engine (7) and reduces pulsation amplitude of engine currents (iu, iv and iw).
EFFECT: improved power factor and efficiency factor.
