SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a column, in particular for mass and / or energy exchange between a liquid phase and a countercurrently led to gaseous phase. Column comprises a sidewall extending along a longitudinal axis of the column and surrounding the interior space of the column, liquid distributor for loading the liquid phase and a mass transfer tray extending along a cross section of the column and comprising drainage elements extending in parallel and spaced apart in the form of angle sections, having first and second longitudinally extending drainage surfaces extending along the longitudinal axis along the longitudinal axis towards the liquid distributor and meeting with each other to form an edge extending along the cross section of the column. In this case, the liquid distributor has outlets through which the liquid phase is fed to the edges of the drainage elements and flows down the both sides of the edge through the drainage surfaces from the drainage element, wherein the outlets are arranged vertically above the edge of the associated drainage element and having final distribution channels extending along the cross section of the column and across the drainage elements and having a bottom extending along the cross section of the column and two outgoing side walls with an upper edge, wherein outlet openings are made on both upper edges.
