FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an indicator device and a household appliance with such a circuit arrangement, as well as to a method for controlling LEDs in a LED matrix. Result is achieved by LEDs in the LED matrix, comprising m columns and n rows, where each LED (LED11, LED12, LED21, LED22) of the matrix can be individually controlled by actuating corresponding column driver (S01, S02) in conjunction with the actuation of corresponding row driver (S10, S20), with bias system (12) for each row. bias system (12) comprises first bias port (14) for electrically coupling to the cathodes of m LEDs (LED11, LED12) of the row and second bias port (16) for electrically coupling to the anodes of m LEDs (LED11, LED12) of the row, each LED (LED11, LED12, LED21, LED22) of the matrix being coupled to the port of column driver (S01, S02) by respective semiconductor diodes (D11, D12, D21, D22), wherein n semiconductor diodes (D11, D12) associated with the same column are each electrically interconnected at one of their respective electrodes.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a circuit arrangement that eliminates the occurrence of harmful reverse voltage on the LEDs and the glow of inactive LEDs.
