FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. To provide good magnetic characteristics in the steel strip, the method comprises steel making, the melt continuous casting into thin slabs, thin slabs heating, homogenization annealing at a temperature of 1,250 °C, heating to the temperature of 1,350 to 1,380 °C, the thin slabs continuous hot rolling to produce the hot-rolled strip, hot-rolled strip cooling and winding into roll, the hot-rolled strip annealing, the strip cold rolling to the nominal thickness, annealing for decarburization and primary recrystallization, reduction annealing and nitriding annealing with the strip primary recrystallization grains production having the equivalent circumference average size of 22 to 25 mcm, annealing separator application onto the cold-rolled strip surface, annealing for the steel strip secondary recrystallization with the Goss texture formation and internal stresses removal, at that, the reduction annealing is carried out at temperature in the range of 820 to 890 °C for the maximum time period of 40 s under nitrogen N2 and hydrogen H2 containing dry gaseous atmosphere, at the water vapor/hydrogen pH2O/pH2 partial pressures ratio of less than 0.10.
