FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: fused steel is continuously teemed to make a slab to be reheated. Note here that slab surface temperature is decreased to 600°C or lower between continuous casting start (stage S2) and slab reheating start (stage S3). Slab surface temperature is kept at the level of 150°C or higher between continuous casting start (stage S2) and slab reheating start (stage S3). Slab surface temperature in reheating (stage S3) is set to make at least 1080°C and not over 1200°C. After reheating, slab is hot rolled, strip is annealed, cold rolled, subjected to decarburising annealing, nitration, application of insulation coating, and final annealing.

EFFECT: better magnetic properties.
