IMITATOR OF INTERFERENCE RADIO SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01S7/40 G01S7/38

Abstract RU 2671244 C1

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering test equipment for bench testing of radio-electronic complexes of space vehicles (spacecraft) and can be used to simulate interference radio signals, including the emission of electric rocket engines (EREs), to onboard radio systems of spacecraft. This result is achieved due to the fact that the simulator of interference radio signals contains two-channel vector generator (1), each channel of vector generator (1) including carrier frequency generator (2, 5), quadrature modulator (3, 6) connected to the output of carrier frequency generator (2, 5), and control unit (4, 7), the outputs of which are connected to the control inputs of the carrier frequency generator and the quadrature modulator. Memory blocks (8, 9) are connected to the inputs of control units (4, 7) through signal converters (10, 11). First memory block (8) contains information about the information signal, and second (9) – data on the interference emission generated by the ERE. Output of first quadrature modulator (3) is connected to the first input of signal adder (16) via first commutator (12) connected in series and the first power amplifier of signal (14) with a controlled gain. Output of the second quadrature modulator (6) is connected to the second input of signal adder (16) via second commutator (13) connected in series and a second power amplifier of signal (15) with a controlled gain. Output of adder (16) is connected to radiating antenna (18) through the power amplifier of resulting signal (17). Outputs of control PC (19) are connected to the control inputs of control units (4, 7), switches (12, 13) and signal power amplifiers (14, 15).

EFFECT: expansion of functionality due to simultaneous simulation of the full spectrum of radiation affecting the radio system, including information signal with thermal noise and emission of ERE.
