FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, and more particularly to the transformation of rotary motion into translational motion. Translational electromechanical drive of contains a screw and a nut. Nut consists of a separator with rolling elements in its slots, and body with a smooth inner cylindrical surface. Separator and body are coaxially and rigidly connected by bottoms to each other at the ends of the separator. Rolling elements are constantly in contact with the surfaces of the screw profile, nut body and separator seats, while the separator seats are located along the screw line at pitches equal to the pitch of the screw. As rolling bodies, both balls and rollers, made with conical end surfaces and a spherical vertex, the cone angle of which corresponds to the angle of inclination of the helical screw line, can be used.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the loading capacity.
