FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering. Vibration isolator with a cable damper contains flat elastic and friction damping elements. Flat elastic elements made in the form of a package of elastic elements of the arch type in the form of a set of flat springs alternating in mutually perpendicular directions. Each of the flat springs consists of a horizontal shelf and two side shelves, bent at an angle of 135° to horizontal shelf. Damping element of the vibration isolator is a compound one and consists of friction and elastic parts. Friction part is made in the form of sleeves arranged parallel to the axis of the vibration insulator with flanges on the ends and a length of cable wound in a closed loop. Bushes are coupled with resilient elements by rivets. Elastic part is made as flexible damping ring embracing the rope section from outside. Inner surface is coated with frictional material.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the vibration isolation efficiency.
