FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: provided is a stepped door stop that contains: progressive indexing rod (1) provided at one end with hole (a) for fastening with rivet (3) and at the other end with bumping section (t) that is horizontally T-shaped, channel (c) is provided on the two opposite surfaces of said rod, in which there is recess (b) for positioning during mounting and indexing recess (d1, d2…dn); substantially parallelepipedic shaped slide (2) provided with opening (f1) and slots (f2) arranged symmetrically in respect to its edges with a longitudinal cylindrical channel perpendicular to the axis of opening (f1), and two symmetrically arranged screw heads (10a) and (10b) for fastening to the door are inserted in slider (2); two indexing balls (4a) and (4b); two compression springs (6a) and (6b); two caps (8a) and (8b) provided with milled areas (8f') and (8a''); two U-shaped safety locks (7a) and (7b); fastening part (9) provided with oval-shaped hole (o) for fastening with a screw on the pillar. Said progressing indexing rod (1) has a symmetrical design with progressive steps towards bumping section (t), which are located on two opposite sides and define plane-parallel surfaces (s1, s2, s3) containing channel (c), which is common to said surfaces and in which positioning recesses (b) and indexing recesses (d1, d2…, d3) having a spherical or conical shape are machined.
EFFECT: stepped door stop is proposed.
