FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cable connector for connecting shielded electrical cables. Connected cable assembly comprises (1) pair of cable assemblies of a naked screened cable comprising (a) naked cable, inner conductor, internal insulator surrounding the core, inner shield surrounding the inner insulator, shell surrounding inner shield; (b) ring clamped directly on the inner screen. (2) connecting unit electrically connecting shielded cables comprising a conductive shielding housing, an insulator disposed in the shielding housing, a conductive busbar in contact with the insulator.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to replace a single long bent cable by more short ones connected by the described connector.
