FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: device for determining the physico-mechanical characteristics of building materials is proposed, containing sensors for measuring the deformation of a building material sample, cramps, a frame and a loading device. Frame is made in the form of a rigid box with windows for optical access to the sample surfaces to be controlled. Linear displacement transducers are mounted on cramps rigidly connected to the frame walls, transducer cases are fixed with minimal overlap of optical access to the sample surfaces to be controlled of the building material. Moving elements of the linear displacement transducers are placed with the provision of a point contact near the middle of the lateral edges of a surface under study, side surfaces view mirrors of the building material sample are rigidly fixed to the inner walls of the frame, and cramps for fixing photographic plates rigidly connected to the frame are placed near the optical access windows.
EFFECT: technical result is the ability to analyze the effect of the chemical and material composition of building materials on the structural changes in the test sample during its loading.
