FIELD: monitoring devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of devices for monitoring and recording installed on vehicles. In the method, the tachograph includes cuboid-shaped installation housing (2) with housing front wall (4) and device system circuit board (6) located in installation housing (2). Moreover, electronic security module (20) is electrically connected to device system circuit board (6), located inside installation housing (2), wherein housing outer wall (18) facing away from front wall (4) has wall opening (22), tray (26) is provided in wall opening (22), which carries security module (20) and is closed by lid (24) fastened to outer wall (18) of the housing.
EFFECT: it is possible to provide a high level of protection against data manipulation with a simple device design at the same time.
