FIELD: connection devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a quick connect connection device (1) that does not require external connectors to connect thermal cutters used for perforating and/or cutting by melting any type of material, for example, for perforating and punching passageways for molten metal in smelting furnaces using clay plugs or mixtures of alumina, silica, carbon and other materials, comprising a hollow cylinder with beveled ends, having two internal annular grooves at each end of said device. Furthermore, there is described a method of connecting a connecting device that is intended to be connected to thermal cutters, at least one of whose ends is in the form of an inverted cone and which, on its skin, comprise an outer annular groove.
EFFECT: invention increases the reliability of operation of the device.
