FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, to circuit breakers. Essence of the claimed invention lies in the fact that the overcurrent electromagnet contains a U-shaped magnetic core with air working gaps, having an elongated and shortened ends, from the shortened side, at least one limb is made with a reduced section of a curved shape, called the saturated stop, end of which simultaneously serves as a stop for restricting the movement of the anchor and determines its initial position, and also keeps the anchor in the initial state until it triggers. Cross section and the shape of the saturated stop are made in such a way that magnetic saturation occurs at currents below the response currents, but above the nominal values of the currents of the electromagnet. Radial bend is made from the elongated side to the inner side in such a way that the armature in the final worked position has the smallest working gap with it. Anchor of an electromagnet, made integral, structurally balanced and molded in such a way that its center of mass is outside the body and on the axis of rotation of the armature, and at the same time it is the point of attachment of the axis. In the center of the anchor there is a symmetrical groove in which the torsion retaining spring is installed.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the resistance to external mechanical effects, reliability, speed and accuracy of operation, reducing the weight and size parameters.
