FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alloys based on aluminum for aluminum sheets and profiles and can be used in the manufacture of side panels of the fuselage, including those used in products of aviation equipment for military purposes. In the method, alloy based on aluminum contains, by weight, %: copper 1.6–1.9, magnesium 1.1–1.5, silicon 0.3–0.7, manganese 1.2–1.5, iron 0.4–1.0, titanium 0.4–1.5, vanadium 0.4–1.2, zirconium 0.4–0.5, chromium 0.4–1.0, at least one element from the group containing zinc 0.4–0.5, boron 0.01–0.1, carbon 0.01–0.1, aluminum and inevitable impurities are the rest.
EFFECT: creation of an aluminum alloy of the Al-Mg-Si system, having a uniform stable structure, good corrosion resistance, weldability, strength, and manufacturability in the manufacture of semi-finished items.
