FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a field heater for inductive heating of a geological formation, in particular deposits of oil sands, oil shales, especially heavy oil or heavy oil. Heater (1) comprises at least one first and second alternating current generator (2.1, 2.2) and at least partially located inside geological formation (6) electrical conducting loop (4). In this case, conductive loop (4) is electrically connected to the first and second alternating current generators (2.1, 2.2) the way to ensure possibility of loading conductive loop (4) in first zone (3.1) by first alternating current generator (2.1) with the first alternating current, and in second zone (3.2) – with the help of second alternating current generator (2.2) with the second alternating current.
EFFECT: technical result is increased power of the heater.
