SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disposable absorbent garments intended for absorbing body exudates, in particular diapers. Method for manufacturing a stretchable elastic member, characterised by applying first adhesive (71) to an inside face of one-side sheet (12S) at predetermined intervals, applying a second adhesive to long narrow elastic stretch members (110) at predetermined intervals, forming first application regions (71A) in which first adhesive (71) is applied, and first non-application regions between first application regions (71A) and adjacent to first application regions (71A), forming second application regions, wherein the second adhesive is applied across numerous first application regions (71A) and second non-application regions between the second application regions and the adjacent second application regions, then fixing, on the inside face of one-side sheet (12S), long narrow elastic stretch members (110) and other-side sheet (12H) to the inside face of long narrow elastic stretch members (110) and long narrow elastic stretch members (110) are cut in sections in which the first non-application regions and the second application regions are opposite to each other when viewed from above.
EFFECT: technical result is an excellent appearance, improved ergonomic properties, prevention of wrinkling in the outer sheet section and opening of the cut pieces of the outer sheet, as well as reduction of production costs.
