FIELD: training means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training means and is a hardware and software equipment of the process of educational research of the characteristics of a DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) receiver of dual-frequency signals. This technical result is achieved by using a computer with an audio card and an audio editor program instead of a hardware dual-frequency DTMF signals generator and a noise generator in a test bed, and for visual display of dual-frequency signals, a computer monitor is used instead of a double-beam oscilloscope. Simplification of the research is provided by using the software settings of the dual-frequency DTMF signals generator and visualization of the generated dual-frequency signals on the computer monitor. Dual-frequency DTMF signals receiver is designed as a stand-alone device based on a typical chip of the DTMF receiver, having a connection to the computer audio card and receiving power from the computer via a USB interface.

EFFECT: technical result is an enhanced test bed functionality and simplified research.
