SUBSTANCE: invention relates to signal processing means for amplifying a speech component in a multi-channel audio signal. Determine a measure representing the total amount of the multi-channel audio signal in frequency, based on the left channel audio signal, the center channel audio signal, and the right channel audio signal. Gain function is obtained based on the relationship between the measure of the magnitude of the center channel audio signal and the measure representing the total value of the multi-channel audio signal. Weigh the left channel audio signal through the gain function to obtain a weighted audio signal of the left channel. Weigh the center channel audio signal through the gain function to obtain a weighted center channel audio signal. Weigh the audio signal of the right channel by means of the gain function to obtain a weighted audio signal of the right channel.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the efficiency of amplifying the speech component in a multi-channel audio signal.
