FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measuring technique and can be used to study the behavior of sections of soil with disturbed and altered density, including on the seabed and at the bottom of other water bodies. Vibro probe for monitoring the density of the seabed soil, containing a test signal generator connected to a power amplifier and a vibration source, a seismic receiver connected to a device for spectral analysis of a seismic signal, is claimed. Vibration source is made of two, for example, metal rectangular plates, the length and width of which is determined by the volume of the soil being tested, and are located relative to each other in the form of a composite beam with the possibility of making rod bending vibrations. Contact surface of the plates ground with a purity of at least Rz 40 has transverse cuts distributed periodically over the entire length of the plates, and the outer surface of the plates is covered with a rubber gasket. Electrical signal converter is installed at the end of one plate, connected to a power amplifier and a generator, and a seismic receiver is installed at the end of the second plate, which is connected to a device for spectral analysis of a seismic signal.
EFFECT: expansion of technological capabilities to determine the density of the soil and an increase in the volume of controlled soil.
