FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gearing. Trochoidal gearing of two wheels, in which the profile of the teeth of each wheel consists of two intertwined equidistant trochoidal curves, one of them forms partially or completely concave tooth leg, and the other forms a convex head of the tooth. As a result, a convex-concave contact with the reduced radius of curvature is substantially greater at the entrance and exit of the teeth from the engagement than in the involute engagement. At the point of transition of the contact from the legs to the head at the pole of the gearing, unlike other non-involute gears, the reduced radius of curvature does not have a jump-like change, but has a finite smoothly changing value, as in the involute gearing. In the most preferential version of this link, when the trochoidal curves are shortened and elongated tooth profiles, the tooth profile of the tool rail does not have complex curves, but consists of two tangentially connected arcs of circles. Same rail can cut the wheels with different number of teeth.
EFFECT: increased load capacity gear is proposed.
