FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gearing consists of two gears (1, 2), profiles of main surfaces (3, 4) of teeth (5, 6) of which are concave and are outlined with point when one of gears runs in without slipping relative to conjugated gear. Also this point belongs to circumference of lugs of the run-in gear along initial circumference of the adjacent gear coinciding with dividing circumference or any other located between the main circumference and circumference of lugs of this gear. The concave line at external toothing corresponds to elongated epicycloid for both gears, while at internal toothing it corresponds to elongated hypocycloid for the external gear and elongated pericycloid for the internal gear. At rack and worm toothing it corresponds to elongated cycloid for a rack and worm and elongated evolvent for a gear.
EFFECT: improved smoothness of tooth gear operation and its raised efficiency.
