FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of ribbed panels with closely spaced edges. First edge is welded to the paneling with two electrodes from different sides of the edge with oscillations along their longitudinal axes in opposite directions. Second and subsequent edges of the panel are formed by two-arc welding in layers. Two electrodes are placed in a plane parallel to the edge at an angle to each other from different sides of the filler wire fed vertically to the common weld pool. Electrodes are moved in the mode of reciprocating motion along the weld line and it is oscillated along their longitudinal axes in opposite directions. During the period of formation of a second edge by surfacing, a screen identical to the first edge can be installed in place of the third edge, providing protection for the deposit.
EFFECT: combined welding and surfacing technology allows you to get a panel with a distance between the edges of 1 mm.
