FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, in particular to devices for magnetic pulse metal forming. In the method, the apparatus contains a device for clamping-type connection and disconnection of the end parts of the half-turns of the plug-in inductor unit. Moreover, this device contains a four-link parallelogram lever hinge, a hydraulic cylinder and a complex block for varying the pressure of compression, separation and cleaning of the end parts of the half-turns. Moreover, the end parts of the half-turns are made with concave and convex opposed surfaces, with a hollow channel in each of the half-turns with a convex end surface.
EFFECT: increased reliability of molding long tubular items in the most difficult working conditions.
