SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons, namely to self-loading mortars. Self-loading mortar contains a barrel, a barrel casing, a trigger and a cassette with mines. Spring-loaded stoppers are hinged on the barrel. Barrel casing is made with protrusions made with grooves inside for the stoppers, the protrusions and the grooves are widened upwards. Barrel is spring-loaded and mounted inside the casing with the possibility of axial movement.
EFFECT: increase in the mortar rate of fire is achieved.
