FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an anti-corrosion coating based on zinc for steel sheets or tapes, which for the purpose of quenching are to be heated at least in certain areas to temperatures above the austenization temperature (Ac3) and then cooled at a rate that is at least in certain areas above the critical cooling rate. Anticorrosion coating is applied by immersion in the melt and contains zinc in the amount of at least 75 wt. %, from 0.5 to 15.0 wt. % manganese, from 0.1 to 10.0 wt. % aluminum and, if necessary, inevitable impurities.
EFFECT: invention provides the creation of a metallic coating for steel parts manufactured with direct press hardening, which effectively prevents embrittlement under the influence of a liquid metal during hot deformation and additionally provides reliable cathodic protection of the part after deformation against corrosion, while excluding the contents of elements that are considered potentially hazardous to human health during manufacture and processing.
