FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: steel strip or plate contains the following, wt %: 0.04 < C < 0.5, 0.5 < Mn < 3.5, Si < 1.0, 0.01 < Cr < 1, Ti < 0.2, Al < 2.0, P < 0.1, N < 0.015, S < 0.05, B < 0.015, iron and inevitable impurities are the rest; at that, Ti - 3.4, N < 0.05. Coating made from zinc alloy contains 0.3 - 2.3% Mg and 0.6 - 2.3% Al; optionally, the highest content is 0.2% of one or more additional elements of Pb, Sb, Ti, Ca, Mn, Sn, La, Ce, Cr, Ni, Zr or Bi; inevitable impurities; zinc is the rest. Strip or plate is cut so that steel plate workpiece is obtained, which is subject to thermomechanical treatment to obtain finished part with specified properties. Treatment includes heating of workpiece to the temperature that is higher than Acl for at least partial austenisation, shaping of the workpiece so that the part is obtained at increased temperature and quick cooling of the part.

EFFECT: produced parts have higher strength and corrosion resistance, good ability to painting, application of adhesive or phosphatisation.
